Encaustic and Wax Sculptures
In my encaustic work, I use heated beeswax mixed with vibrant pigments to produce textures and layers that breathe life into each piece. This ancient technique, dating back to classical antiquity, has always fascinated me because of its richness and depth. The tactile quality of encaustic art offers a unique sense of movement, as if the artwork itself is alive. By applying and manipulating layers of wax, I create compositions that have a sculptural presence, capturing the viewer’s eye with intricate textures and light reflections. Two of my encaustic pieces, Sprouting and Contemplation, embody this approach, showcasing the delicate interplay between color, texture, and form.
My wax sculptures are crafted with meticulous attention to detail, showcasing intricate forms and delicate features that speak to my dedication to artistic precision. This medium allows for a level of expressiveness that is almost impossible to achieve with other materials. The malleability of wax enables me to shape each form organically, responding to the material as it evolves in my hands. Every sculpture is a reflection of my artistic philosophy: to merge fragility with permanence, delicacy with strength, and tradition with contemporary vision. In pieces like Reflection and Abyss, I explore these contrasts, allowing each sculpture to embody a balance between raw emotion and refined technique.
Airbrush Technique
The airbrush allows me to achieve a smooth and seamless gradation of colors, adding a level of realism and dimension that is both captivating and lifelike. This technique is a powerful tool in my artistic arsenal, enabling me to create works that are rich in detail and visual impact. Airbrushing grants me unparalleled control over the intensity and texture of colors, allowing me to create illusions of depth and movement. The precision of this method is especially useful in airbrushing hyperrealistic sculptures, where subtle transitions in color and tone enhance the hyperrealistic effect.
As a collaborator of esteemed Professor Zharko Basheski, a true visionary in hyper-realistic sculpture, I had the opportunity to refine my techniques and explore new dimensions of realism. Working on projects alongside Basheski allowed me to gain deeper insight into the complexities of human form, texture, and detail. Together, we experimented with different material applications, pushing the boundaries of sculptural realism to new heights. This collaboration reinforced my belief that art is a constant process of learning and evolving, where each creation is an opportunity to explore new artistic frontiers.

My mission is to seamlessly integrate traditional and contemporary art forms, creating pieces that are not only visually stunning but also thought-provoking.
