SECURE THIS PIECE →The concept behind this work dates back to 2012, a period when I, as a student, became deeply engaged with Baroque authors. My piece finds a close reminiscence with Caravaggio’s Narcissus, yet with an entirely different context and approach. For a long time, my vision remained unrealized as I searched for answers to events unfolding around me. Finally, this vision has come to fruition within the framework of my master’s studies.
The work explores the weight that drags us down, addressing the powerful forces of depression that can pull us into an abyss shaped by worldly concerns. The dominant use of green symbolizes these earthly matters, representing the burdens that keep us struggling beneath their weight. In this piece, green is not merely a color; it embodies the relentless weight of life’s tangible problems that bind us, illustrating how these burdens exacerbate our descent into despair.
Each piece is 100% authentic and one-of-a-kind. Once it's gone, it's gone forever. Don't miss your chance to own this unique artwork—claim it today.
