Darkness

In the work titled Darkness, I diverge from human representations to depict an angel surrounded by darkness. This darkness is an entity that can only be confronted by divine forces, symbolizing the profound void that dominates our contemporary existence. I aim to highlight the pervasive darkness in today's world, reflecting the growing distance from spiritual values and truths. The angel is portrayed as it turns towards the Absolute Being, seeking salvation from the shadows cast by humanity's own creations and the dark forces that engulf individuals in their existence.

These dark influences lead to temptation, causing one to lose focus and stray from their true path. In this struggle against the engulfing shadows, only divine powers possess the strength to confront such malevolence. The artwork serves as a critique of postmodern times, a period when true values have been overshadowed and forgotten.

Through this representation, I invite viewers to reflect on their own battles with inner darkness and the external influences that threaten to obscure their spiritual essence. The angel's quest for illumination serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of reconnecting with the divine and seeking redemption amidst chaos.
