Belonging

The internal state of apathy is a prevailing illness in our contemporary society, and this is the core of my work titled Belonging. We are bombarded daily by social and traditional media, leading to a numbness where individuals no longer seek an escape from their current state. In such moments, finding meaning becomes an arduous task, as everything seems random, and events lose their significance.

The work aims to raise questions and, while it is contained within its own meaning, it can also challenge and spark discussions that transcend its initial interpretation. Through the symbolic representation of forms, I sought to express the astonishment and bewilderment experienced in situations we cannot confront. Often, we respond by freezing these emotions, treating them as if they do not exist. Yet, true peace can only be found by looking deeply within ourselves. This introspection is the sole path to achieving harmony with oneself, regardless of the chaos around us or the events that may or may not unfold.
